What is Surprising Saints about?

There sure are some weird saints out there, here are some of them.

The short of it is I grew up Catholic and only recently found out that there are some truly bizarre saints. So I thought it might be fun to start a little Substack publication talking about all the weird ones.

This is purely for fun. I have no idea how often it will be updated or if this whole idea will die a slow, painless death. Either way it’s here for now, and something to have fun with for however long it lives.
